Optical Lens Densitometer

OLD-2

The optical lens densitometer measures the optical density, transmission, and absorption spectra of colored lenses

It can measure the optical density of colored (painted) lenses, in a wide spectral range (380-680 nm) or even at some specific wavelengths (380, 400, 435, 525, 585, and 630 nm) under industrial conditions.

It also measures their transmission and absorption spectra in the ultraviolet and visible spectral ranges of electromagnetic waves.

Three versions of equipment were developed:

  • OLD-2 is the basic version,

  • OLD-2-GR is capable of measuring gradient lenses,

  • OLD-2-GR-UV which measures the ultra-violet protection layer at 385 nm and 400 nm.
