  • The hand operated LILE is able to execute geometric measurement of the defects in the rail track.

  • A laser source fixed on rail, which can generate a laser spot from even 40 m.

  • The target could be positioned by hand, the position is measured with tape measure.

  • The location of the laser spot can be recorded by hand to the measuring .

 

LIRA

  • The LIRA unit can automatically determine and record the location of the laser spot by help of picture analyzation procedure.

Rail Inclinometer

  • The device measures the track's super-elevation and the rail's inclination of the rail with a measuring frame fitted on the edge of the rail base

  • The value of rail inclination is calculated from the two measured angle values

  • The measuring results are collected and displayed by the Android measuring program via wireless connection

TrackScan 2.01

Track gauge, super-elevation and flange-way mesuring device

  • TrackScan 2.01 is suitable for measuring track gauge, super-elevation, track length and for calculating distortion

  • TrackScan 2.21 measures the track's same dimensions as TrackScan 2.01 and in addition the flange-way as well 

  • The measuring results are recorded and stored on a hand-held computer, data transfer is possible if a computerized connection is available

Inertial sensor-based, vehicle-dynamic measuring system

Vehicle-dynamic measuring system installed on the measuring tram of Budapest Transport Company

  • The measuring system records and processes the data of accelerometer sensors which measure the acceleration of the tram bogie's longitudinal beam, the wheels and the car body.

  • The point defects and the section defects of the track can be recognized. Furthermore, the location and the extension of the defects can be determined from the measuring results.

  • With experiments, we elaborated a dynamical qualification index based on the measuring results.

  • The characteristics of derailment safety and ride quality can be measured and calculated.

  • The evaluating program (office program) specifies the locations of local defect by determining limits.
