  • TrackScan 2.01 is suitable for measuring the track gauge, the super-elevation, the track length and for calculating the distortionTrackScan 2.21 measures the same dimensions of the track as TrackScan 2.01 and in addition the flange-way as well 

  • The measuring results are recorded and stored on hand held computer, data transfer is possible if a computerized connection is available

Inertial sensor-based, vehicle-dynamic measuring system

Vehicle-dynamic measuring system installed on the measuring tram of Budapest Transport Company

  • The measuring system records and processes the data of accelerometer sensors which measure the acceleration of the tram bogie longitudinal beam, the wheels and the car body.

  • The point eddy defects and the section eddy defects of the track can be recognized. Furthermore the location and the extension of the defects can be determined from the measuring results.

  • With experiments we elaborated a dynamical qualification index based on the measuring results.

  • The characteristics of the running safety and the ride comfort can be measured and calculated.

  • The evaluating program (office program) specifies the local defect places by determining thresholds.
